The new distribution agreement with Olimex further enhances Mouser's ability to support design engineers at the earliest stages of the product development process by providing a full suite of development tools including starter kits, evaluation boards, programmers, debuggers, and emulators, required for rapid evaluation and testing of designs using microcontrollers from manufacturers such as Texas Instruments, Maxim, Microchip, Atmel, NXP Semiconductors, STMicroelectronics, Cirrus Logic, Energy Micro, and others.

"Not only does our relationship with Olimex fit well with our unique business strategy of focusing on the needs of design engineers," states Russell Rasor, Mouser Vice President of Advanced Technology, "It also allows us to provide a reliable international source of testing and development tools that support the most sought after microcontrollers in the industry."

Jason Stacey Moore, Olimex CEng MIET, had this to say describing the partnership going forward, "Mouser adds safe hands in delivering Olimex products to design engineers worldwide. Teaming with Mouser instantly extends our reach into the engineering design community by making our products available through their catalog and award-winning website."
