| NuVant Systems spins off rapid prototyping company Posted: 29 Sep 2010 01:29 PM PDT MERRILLVILLE | NuVant Systems Inc., a company that designs fuel cell components and diagnostic instrumentation, has spun off a new startup. The startup will assist clients by designing, assembling and installing instrumentation and discovery-scale reactor systems for universities and industry. Concept to Market, or CTM, is a tenant in the Purdue Technology Center at the Purdue Research Park of Northwest Indiana in Merrillville. Linda Smotkin is its president and CFO. The firm is fully owned by NuVant Systems, which was founded in 1999 by Eugene S. Smotkin, a professor of materials chemistry at Northeastern University in Boston. NuVant Systems also is based in the Purdue Research Park. CTM works with clients to transform concepts into products ready for the market or implementation at client facilities.
